Nutrition is an important issue in the modern, health-orientated world we live in. Looking at issues of diet and prevention of health issues such as diabetes and heart disease, this course will provide you with the latest knowledge in the growing area of dietetics.
If you're interested in pursuing a career in nutrition, public health or food development this programme could be ideal for you. With industry placement options and a degree accredited by the Association for Nutrition, you'll be fully prepared to begin your career.
What will I study?
All students complete modules tailored to your chosen degree subjects.
How will I be assessed?
Progress is monitored by continuous assessment of coursework and by the use of class tests. Assessment will be by:
- coursework, including prepared assignments, unit tests, experimental reports, and computer use
- mid-course and end-of-course examinations
- formal assessment of levels and progress in English through NCUK's English for Academic Purposes (EAP) programme
Study one (or more) term(s) of English before continuing on to your academic pathway programme. Perfect if you need to improve your English level by 0.5 IELTS point.
